WEATHER FORECAST.
By Telegraph.—Press Association, Wellington, Last Night. Present indications are for south-east winds strong to gale northwards of Farewell Spit and Kaikoura, the weather being cold, unsettled and showery generally, but heavy rain may be expected in the northern and east coast districts of the North Island. The barometer is unsteady, with a falling tendency in the north.
