LAST NIGHT OF CHAS. RAY IN "THE CLODHOPPER" AT THE EMPIRE. "The Clodhopper," which is showing for the last time at the Empire to-night, is a most refreshing comedy-drama. Charles Ray and Margery Wilson, who are featured in the production, are well suited to their parts, and the supporting cast is well chosen, A very amusing Keystone comedy entitled "Done in Mil" is also shown. TO-MORROW. Commencing a three night season tomorrow, Lionel Barrymore will star ii: the Metro comedy-drama "The End of the Tour," a play of laughter and teaxs 'lealing with the loves and lives of a company of "barnstorming" theatricals The supports will include the eleventh vpisode of the "Secret of the Submarine'' and the "Rex Beacli Travel Series." CHRISTMAS EVE. ""TOM BROWN'S SCHOOL DAYS" A record attraction has been secured by the Empire management for Christmas eve, Christmas night and Boxing night, in the Winsdor film ''Tom Brown's Schooldays." This, the story of a schoolboy, with all his escapades reproduced to the life, and all his wild fancies pictured in graphic style, may be of interest, to {lie elder people quite as much as to the V'outh of the city. There is a. vein of naive appeal in the story of a wild boy's attempts to break through the overpowering discipline of law and order, that will bring back the memories of happy days.
