WEATHER FORECAST.
By Telegraph.—Press Association, Wellington, Last Night. High but decreasing west to southwest winds have prevailed. The atmospheric pressure has increased since last evening. Heavy showers fell during Tuesday night, but weather conditions improved generally to-day. Present indications are for southerly breezes veering to northerly and then increasing. Weather warm and humid, but an unfavorable change is likely to follow shortly. The barometer will fall everywhere soon.
