In connection with the (1611-voting competition which is to be held as part of the forth-coming carnival organised by the Citizens' Band, dolls have been presented by three business firmß in New Plymouth. That donated by Mr. A. P. Brooker will be known as the B.K. doll, Mr. Hart's gift will be known as Hart's doll, and that contributed by White and Son as the band's doll. The dolls will be exhibited to-day at the shops of the respective donors, and children, after inspecting same and deciding on the doll they will support, can obtain tickets at Mr. Catteley's office, Brougham street, for selling purposes. A prize has been offered to the seller of the most tickets for each of the dolls, while a prize is to be given to the seller of the most tickets *<i the competition, so that it will be DOisible to obtain two nrizes.
