PUBLIC NOTICES. BOROUGH OF NEW PLYMOUTH. MOTOR BUS SERVICE SPECIAL LOAN OF £IBOO. THE COUNCIL OF THE BOROUGH OF NEW PLYMOUTH JJEREBY GIVES PUBLIC NOTICE i. that it proposes to borrow by way of special loan the sum of £IBOO. The particular purposes for which the loan is required are: 10 establish and maintain a service for the conveyance of passengers and goods to and from any place within the Borohgli, or, with the consent of any neighboring local authority, between any place within the Borough and any place within the district of that local authority; TOR such purpose to purchase the motor omnibus or motor omnibuses (electrically or otherwise propelled), and such equipment and spare parts and things as may be necessary for the properly carrying on pf the said service; TO crcct or hire a building or buildings for the housing of such motor omnibus or motor omnibuses, and to furnish and equip such building or buildings with all necessaries for the properly carrying on of the said service; AND for any other purpose incidental or in relation to any of the above purposes. The qum to be borrowed for all such purposes is £IBOO, at a rate of interest not exceeding £5 10s per centum per annum, with a sinking fund of i per centum per annum additional. The proposed security for the said loan of £IBOO and the interest and sinking fund thereon is an annually recurring special rate of one halfpenny in the £ on the annual value of all rateable property in the said Borough and it is proposed to repay the money on the Ist day of October, 1022. It is proposed to pay out of the loan the cost of raising the loan and the interest and sinking fund thereon for the first year.
