DECLINE IN LIQUOR SALES. Australian-X.Z. Cable Association. Sdney, Nov. 27. The New South Wales liquor hill for the year ended June is £0,007,000, the lowest since 1912. Received Nov. 27, 8.33 p.m. Sydney, Nov. 27. The drink hill discloses a reduction of Os >9d per head of papulation as compared with the previous year. Correlative of the influence of the reduction in the consumption of intoxicants, it is also shown by the police court Teturns that in 1915 there were 32,467 convictions for drunkenness, and in 19H3 they numbered •21,322. . NEW STATE CABINET. Received Nov, 28, 1.45 a.m. Melbourne, Nov. 27. The formation of the new State Cabinet has been delayed by negotiations for consolidating the Liberal ranks, but is expected to-morrow.
