VICTORY REJOICINGS. PUSHING OONSCRIPTION CAMPAIGN Received Nov. 27,11.10 p.m, Sydney, Nov. 27. Tte city is decorated with bunting in honjr of General Byng's victory. Church belis pealed, bands played, the streets to-night were illuminated, and a monster thanksgiving service w&s held at Martin place, including parliamentary and civic heads and foreign consuls. The public heartily joined in the celebration;. Opportunity Was taken of the gathering of big crowds to push the recruiting and conscription issues. The campaign, bo far, has been marked by intense earnestness, but lades much of the vitriolic spirit which marked the previous TonBcription referendum.
