K AIM AT A. From Our "Own Correspondent. On Thursday, November 8, Mesdames Taylor and Egaar gave a "Red Cross afternoon" in the public hall, which was very tastefully arranged for the occasion# A dainty afternoon tea was dispensed and musical items rendered. A guessing competition (riddles) was won by Miss M. Parli, who received a pretty handkerchief and glove box. On Thursday, November 15, a "Tennis Afternoon Tea,'' in aid of the Red Cross, Was held at the tennis court in the school grounds. Again, on Thursday evening, November •22, a "Red Ctosa locial" was held in the hall. Though the attendance was not very large the social was a very enjoyable one. The School children are very busy practising for a concert to be given by them on November 30.
