SHIPPING POSSIBILITIES.
OUTLOOK HKT'i'KU. By 'telegraph.—l'ress Association. Wellington, Last Night. Questioned as to the possibilities of shipping for the coming season, Mr. Manscy stated to-day that while he was not at liberty to publish the names of the ships coming to New Zealand for cargo, lie was able to say that the outlook at present was better than it had been for some time past. The Shipping Controller's department and Board of Trade, with the new Food Controller, were evidently anxious to considerably reduce the quantity of meat and dairy produce in New Zealand stoves before we got into full swing with the new season's opera-) turns, and he was now confident this would be done.
