The. beautiful Ella Hall is the star ,and al-' lowing this brilliant artist to be all that is desired, {here is no doubt that the honors of the cast fall to Mr Drummond Wolf, as the Jewish pawnbroker. Mr. Wolf depicts the character as one who feels the sorrow of others deeply. The plot turns on the act of a mother pawning her daughter, to enable her to return homo to beg forgiveness for an unhappy marriage Eventually the girl is found, educated, and introduced to the best society. She is loved by a wealthy voung aristocrat, but the kindness of the Jew has had its effect, and the story takes several dramatic turns before the. interesting climax arrives. The supporting progamme is very good with a Topical Gazette and comedy and comedy drama.
