Government has placed an initial order with theHendee Manufacturing Co. for 3500 "Indian" motorcycles for immediate delivery, and that further quantities re—'-"» —<» range 'over 10,000 "Indian" maeh iiies. This is in spite of the fact that the "Indian" Wd made to the Govjrnment was considerably higher than the pricr? tendered by any other concern.
