FIRES.
ANOTHER OUTBREAK AT COKER'S By Telegraph.—Press Association. Christehurch, Nov. 20. Shortly after midnight another fire was discovered in Coker'a hotel. Bedding and bedrooms were alight, but the outbreak was quickly overcome. On the departure of the fire brigade members of the police force took the building under their care. BOARDING-HOUSE DESTROYED, Gore, Nov. 20. A fire occurred early this morning in a 21-roomed wooden boarding-house at East Gore, occupied by Mrs. Stenhoiise. The house was practically destroyed. The origin of the fire is a mystery, though it is believed it was caused by rats. The owner, J. Sweden, and the occupier, are heavy losers. The insurance on the building was £350, and on the furniture £3OO.
