ANOTHER DEFAULTERS' LIST. Another list of defaulters under the Military Service Act was issued on Friday night by the Defence Department, in a Gazette Extraordinary. The list contains the names of First Division men who have been drawn in various balJots but have not attended for medical examination after the dispatch to their addresses of the official notices. The men arc directed now, under clause 13 of the Military Service Act, to report at the Defence Offices in<the various group* for medical examination at 10 a.m. on November 22. Failure to comply with this potice renders them liable to be treated as deserters. It is possible, as in the case of other defaulters' lists, that some of the men in this list will be found to have joined the forces, or to have died, and others may have failed to receive the official notices owing to some error in their addresses or to their failure to notify 1 heir changes of addresses. The Defence authorities, having failed to trace these ballottcd men by other means, have no option but to gazette the names in ac< cordance with the Act. The Taranaki names are as follows: ' Allen, J. 8., painter, G.P.0., 'Patea Byatt, B. 8., farm hand, Kaponga, Taranaki. Conndl, W. J., farm hand, Omatina, Waverley. Fienbury, H., laborer, New Plymouth. Freyne, J., cheese maker, Kapuni, Ha- • wera. Hanson, E. G., laborer, Waitara. Hogan, T., platelayer, Smart Road, New Plymouth Jarden, R. P.; farmer, Hillsborough Johnstone, R., milker, Normanby M'Kio, W., bushfeller, Valley Eoad, Whangamomona. Moyles (or Mbyes), C., farm laborer, Post Office, Patea. Norman, W., ckeesemaker. Hurleyville.
