DISPOSAL OF THE HORSES. By Telegraph.—Press Association. Wellington, Nov. 1!!. Probate has been granted in the estate of the late 'Hon. J. D. Ormond at under .t'4.iO,GOO. . • The will leaves all tlin money and estates to members of the femily. The Ormond residence, "TintagoV 'Napier,■ is left to his daughter, r.uiny 'Ormond. The widow is to have a life residence in free of all charge or rent. She is left an annuity of £ISOO free of all death duties. George Canning Ormond and John Davis Ormond are each left five stud mares and three racehorses. The remainder of the stud, draught horses and thoroughbreds, is to be so'ul by auction. The eexcutors and trustees are J. D. Ormond, G. C. Ormond, and P. S. McLean. SOME OF THE BEQUESTS. Among the more important bequests are as under: Executors appointed: George Canning Ormond, sheepfarmer, Mahia; .lolrn Davies Ormond, sheepfarmer, Wallingford; Patrick Stirling McLean, solicitor, Napier. To widow, Hannah Ormond, bequests an annuity of .Cl/100, also use of house at Napier, named "Tintagel," also lands and motor ears, furniture, horses, etc., , used in connection with it for life, and thence to her daughter, Fanny Ormond, absolutely. Karamu estate, comprising about 136 acres, to be assigned to the widow, Hannah Ormond, for life, and thence to Fanny Ormond and Ada Mary Wilson, daughters, in equal shares. Stock, etc.—George Canning Ormond and John Davies Ormond, jun., sons, to have a right to select five stud mares and three racehorses, all other stock and racehorses on that estate to be sold within five months after date of such selection. Wallingford Estate.—To John Davies Ormond, for his own absolute property, that portion of the Wallingford estate, comprising about 2404 acres, free from all encumberances, I.langangarara Block No. 1 to be made over to the trustees of the marriage settlement of John Davies Ormond and Emily Mary Gladys Wilder. George Canning Ormond and Frederick Henry Pyne: All that piece of land Mangangarara, containing 28G9 acres. Also all stock, machinery, etc., and in the event of either of these declining to (icccpt, such land to be made over to John Davies Ormond. Wallingford residue to be held on trust, and managed. by the trustees; annuity of .{ll3OO without income tax, to be paid to the widow, Hanhah Ormond, for life. Then to be sold. With regard to the Wallingford stock, plant, etc., a valuation is to be made, trustees to determine What proportions shall be allotted to the portions of the estate devised to John Davies Ormond. Woodville property.—All stock, land, plant, etc., at Woodville to be the property of the ton, Frank Ormond, absolutely. Omaranui estate.—To be subdivided, and offered by auction in areas suitable for farming. Akahukura (Auckland). —To be held on trust as follows: One equal seventh part of Akahnkura property for Alexander Ormond, ton of Geo. Canning Ormond, provided he returns to New Zealand within six months after my decease and resumes the position of manager of such property within two months after this return, and shall continue to act an such capacity for not less than five years. (2) Three equal seventh parts to be held on trust for George Hamish Ormond Wilson, Quentin Ormond Wilson, and James Glenny Wilson, children of my daughter, Mary Ada Wilson, until they attain the age of 21. The remaining three equal seventh shares are to be held for John Davies Wilder Ormond, Edward Wilder Ormond, and Walcat Eyre Wilder Ormond, children of John Davies Ormond, jun. Auckland property (portion of Akahukura property).—Fanny Ormond, owner of such property, to be released of the mortgage of £14,000 —land to be henceforth unencumbered. Such property, however, to be subject to the management by trustees, and yearly rent, to be agreed upon to be paid to the said Fanny Ormond. St. Helen's property, QueenslandSuch property, or any other foreign property, to be sold. Trusts of Residue. —Trustees to stand possessed of balance of trust estate and the income arising therefrom until all ,expenses therefrom are paid, and from the balance the following devises to be made: Fanny Ormond, daughter, £IO,OOO legacy; Frank, son, £SOOO legacy, and to stand possessed of residue upon trust; to Geo. Canning Ormond, John Davies Ormond, jun., and Ada Mary Wilson, daughter, to receive equal shares. The will contains other numerous directions and requirements. In connection with the Akahukura property: —In a codical .it is set out that, "If Alexander Ormond shall predecease me or should hot desire to resume the managership, his share (one seventh) to be divided into six equal shares and held in trust for Geo. Hamish Ormond Wilson, Quentin Ormond Wilson, James Glenny Wilson, John Davies Wilson Ormond, Edward Ormond, and Walcat E. W. Ormond. Should any of these six predecease me or not attain 21 years of age, their share to be held in trust for the next younger brother or sister. The trustees are directed if they consider expedient to continue the business of sheepfarming, etc., until March, 1021, they shall then proceed to distribute the land in the number of beneficiaries, as stated. The trustees are further empowered at any time to sell .this property,, the direction as to application of income before stated to be complied with.
