AN OKATO CASE.
To the Editor. Sir, —As one concerned in the local which appeared in the Daily Xews of the 13th inst., re' a 17 (?) year-old boy refusing to do certain work, as lie was only receiving ,E3 per week, T would like to make known to some of your many readers the other side of the ease, and expose the sweating methods employed by some employers. The boy, who was over IS years, was driving a motor wagon, doing exactly the same work as the other men employed. The hours of work were about 12 each week day. When Sunday work was nsked of the "boy" without any further remuneration, the trouble arose.—l am, etc., "SWEATED." Okato, November 1*
