HIGH COMMISSIONER'S CABLED REPORT. The Department of Agriculture, Industries, and Commerce has received the following cablegram, dated London, November 10, 1-017, from the High Commissioner for Xew Zealand. Butter.—Maximum lower prices maintained nnsalted butter. Paris 25(i3 Bd, both salted and imsaltcd; Danish and 'Dutch 2295; British-made butter, ex creamery, factory or farm, 2305; lib and 21b rolls, 2445. All descriptions of butter are very scarce. No official quotations with the exception of Dutch creamery, Paris and Argentine at maximum prices.

. Cheese.—.tn small supply. N.Z., States Flats, Australian, and Canadian at Government price : Dutch, moderate supplies coming forward, 150s to 150s, factory 130s to 140s. Estimated Canadian cheese stocks London, Liverpool, Bristol, ?2,094 boxes, ns against 129,421 at same time last vcar.

Hemp.—Manila, little business doing under Government control. Output two weeks ending November 3, 4S,00(1 bales. N.Z spot continues in good demand, great difficulty in making sales to arrive, as sellers cannot guarantee date of delivery.

Wheat.—Offerings are very small at official quotations. Little business doing to arrive. English, 73s fid. Oats.—Market quiet hut firm. No. 2 Canadian Western", -fi3s (id. have been fixed, £7 IS?, as average price for the whole of English <"rop (mutilated word here).
