GENERAL NEWS.
FIRE IN WORKHOUSE INFIRMARY. Australian-N.Z. Cable Association. London, Nov. 12. Fifteen women were burnt to death in Manchester workhouse infirmary. A fire broke out in the bathroom and spread rapidly through the wooden building. Nineteen beds were removed and then the roof collapsed.
