INQUEST ON THE LATE MR. LENNON.
[The following letter appeared in the C'hristchurch Sun on Saturday last, Nov. 3, and wo have been requested to publish same.] To the Editor of The Sun. . Sir,—ln writing my previous letter under this heading I was led to understand from the report of the Coroner's inquest that Mr. Harper had publicly reprimand" ed the late Mr. Lennon. I now find that fMr. Harper's statement was in answer to a question by the Coroner, asking if there was anything connected with his books that would account for Mr. Lennon's act. On inquiry, I find that, although he did not take regular holidays, this was through no fault of his firm. —I am, etc,, W. CAREY HILL.
