KILLED BY PALL FROM TRAMCAR By Telegraph,—Press Aisociatiov Auckland, Laat Night. Charles Barrett King, secretary of the Auckland Master Bakers' and Grocers' Union, died in hospital yesterday afternoon, as the result of a fall from a tramcar, the base of his skull being fractured. SUDDEN DEATH ON BOWLING GREEN. Wellington, Laßt Night. Evcrard W. Seaton, an old member of the Thorndon Bowling Club, fell dead on the green yesterday, while playing for the club against Petone in an inter-dub competition. Ten minutes earlier deceased had partaken of afternoon tea. At the time of his death Seaton, with othe* members of th& rink, were walking across the green to change ends with the skips, when he suddenly pitched forward on his face. Two doctors were on the green and, after an examination, pronounced life extinct. Deceased had suffered from attacks of heart failure for some time. He was the senior partner in the firm of Seaton and Sladden, civil engineers and surveyors, and was 72 years of age. He leaves a widow, two soni and one daughter. KILLED AT A WOOL STORE.: Gisborne, Nov. It. W. E. Holder, a resident of Tolga Bay,' was killed this afternoon as the result of an accident at a wool store, his arm being caught in the windless and almost dragged off. By the time a doctor ar rived he had expired.
