OPENIXG OF WEST END GREEN. The West End bowling green was o]i,<'DG(l yesterday in fine weather. The president, Mr, ,J. p. Sole, extended a hearty welcome to the visitors, & l&Rf,e number of ladies being present, Thp green looked remarkably well, in fact it has never looked better. Although a trifle heavy it played well, reflecting ,great credit 011 the green warden, Mr. F. J. Hiil, the caretaker, Mr. Richard Sole.
