A THOUGHT OF COMFORT TO THEM IS OFFERED. The mighty strength that's born through, sacrifice! Bodies and spirit offered to redeem , A muddled, bacled, bleeding world of pain. - Oh! Mothers of ten thousand broken hearts, Take for your healing thought, that through you, Christ In Christ-like men has come to save the world. His HandV held oyt for you to rise again, His strength is your 3 to aid a world's reform, If only you will call to Him 'we come.' For 'Duty' done from His command is Light That guideth star-like to Eternal Life. Then Mothers, Women All, let's add our call, Our 'bit/ Wll 'carry job,' ■well on, A STAT. 'Yklc.*; fiVi 'ho horrors -war can bring, with dii Infernai, and with irmrdorous sounds that cut In shivering pangs across the fleshgrown nerves, Yet, in this 'Push' a link to Thee, I hold. A tie that fires my soul, and lifts me up E'en over 'cover' on to daring deeds. Till maimed, I cry 'am I more now 'To pass to Thee? or wait I till more pain 'Shall shape me to Thy use, liy some new deed!' I =—
