BOWLING.
WAITARA DEFEATS STRATFORD. Glorious sunshine favored bowlers in the games played at Waitnra on Thurs. day afternoon. Stratford sent five rinks and all had a very pleasant time, although victory went to the home players by 14 points. Before dispersing, Mr. Bent, president of the home club, oxpressed, pleasure at seeing the Stratford Club there that afternoon, and wished them pood luck in future games. Mr. McMillan, president of the Stratford Club, suitably, replied, and an exchange of cheers brought proceedings to a close. The following are the scores, Waitara being mentioned first: Kempsell.
