COLLISION AT FEATHERSTON STATION.

SEVERAL SOLDIERS INJURED. By Telegraph,—Pres* .Wociotion. Wellington, Last Night, I A collision occurred at Featherston station to-day, resulting in slight injuries to several soldiers, and somewhat serious injuries to Private O'Hara, 33rd Reinforcements. Three carriages containing soldiers on leave were waiting to be coupled to a train for Wellington, when a string of trucks attached to the engine collided with them. O'Hara was islanding on the earrioge platform and was thrown backwards, injuring his back. The camp ambulance was sent | for, and O'Hara was taken to the camp hospital. It is believed his spine is not [injured. Another soldier had his face cut, and others were severely shaken.
