WEATHER FORECAST.
m By Telegraph.—Press Association. ' Wellington, Last Night. A westerly storm area passed in the south during Tuesday night, and has accounted for unsettled and cloudy weather generally, and considerable rain in the western districts and about Cook Strait. Strong-north-west to south-west winds have predominated. Present indications are for variably winds, but moderate to strong southerließ predominating. Expect cool, changeable, and showery weather generally. The barometer is unsteady, with a rising tendency.
