GENERAL TELEGRAMS.

A PROSECUTION THAT FAILED. By Telegraph.—'Press Association. Auckland, Nov. 6. Mr, Fraser, S.M., gave his reserved Judgment in the case against the Auckland Star charged with having published, without military authority, the whereabouts of a sea-going ship, having particular reference to the arrival of an oil launch manned by foreigners at Aitutaki. The Magistrate held that the oil launch in question was a soa-going vessel according to the war regulations, but the regulation applied only to British, Allied and neutral craft and did not apply to this boat or the crew, which were alien. The information was dismissed.
