The proceedings of District Courtsmartial held at Trentham on Octobor 2G and 27, on the undermentioned soldiers, having been confirmed, have been promulgated as follow: Pte. R .R. Newport, Trentham Details (G Coy., 25th Reinforcements), deserting His Majesty's Service—ll2 days' detention. 'Pte. M. Faul, Trentham Details (E Cov.;, 30th Reinforcements), inserting Hi 6 Majesty's Service, and -losing by neglect his equipment, clothing, and regi- ' mental necessaries—Bl days' detention; stoppages to pay for deficiencies in kit amounting to £5 13s 4d. Pte. J. R. Hartland, Trentham Details (A Cov.. 30th), deserting His Majesty's Service when on active service—S4 days' detention. Pte. S. A. Gillard, Trentham Details (A Coy., 30th Reinforcements), deserting His Majesty's Service—42 days' detention. • \ Pte. W. William Arthur Eraser, Featherston Details, deserting His Majesty's service, losing by neglect his equipment, clothing, and regimental necessaries; imprisonment with bard labor for six months, and to be placed under stoppage of p;iy until lie has made good the sum of £3 2s 9d lor kit deficiencies.
