♦ WOMAN POUND DROWNED. By Telegraph.—'Press Association. Auckland, Nov. 5. The dead body of Mary Cleary, wife of Frederick Cleary, laborer at Panmure, was found in the Tamaki river. Evidence at the inquest showed that deceased was depressed owing to inability, through illness, to care for her young baby. An open verdict was returned.
