CHURCH DIFFERENCES.

BISHOP CLEARY'S WARNING. By Telegraph.—'Press Association. Auckland. Last Night. Replying to the hostile propaganda directed against the Roman Catholic Church, Bishop Cleary said the effect of such a. campaign must be to divide and weaken the Dominion by fomenting dissension among its people. "I warn the Government," he declared, "we are not going to suffer such attacks lying down. If there is not in this Dominion a Government strong enough or patriotic enough to abate this dangerous propaganda of dissension and strife in and out of our army, we ourselves will see to our proper defence."
