London, Xov. 2. Sir Douglas Haig reports: Taking advantage of the change in the •weather on Wednesday, our aeroplanes and those of the enemy were in the air all day. The visibility was not very good, hindering artillery work, but many photographs were taken and much bombing done by our machines. Aeroplanes co-operated successfully in infantry ,Taids north-eastward of Loos, firing several thousand " machine-gun rounds and bombing troops and communication trenches. Five tons of bombs were dropped on ißoulers, causing fires and explosions, and on many billets further on. There were S'/j ton? dropped in the night on aerodromes in the neighborhood of Courtrai, the aerodrome at Goutrode, the railway stations at Roulers, Thorout, and Courtrai.
