BEERSHEBA CAPTURED. A DETERMINED RESISTANCE. New York, Nov. 1. Reports received hew state that Beersheba has been captured. London, Nov. 1. Egyptian official.—After a night march we attacked -Beersheba yoßterday morning. While infantry attacked the western and south-western defences the mounted men made a wide turning movement through the desert and approached from the east. Bcorsheba was occupied in the evening, despite a determined resistance. (Beersheba, thirty miles south-east of Gaza, is a Turkish base, arid is on a railway from Jerusalem, which is 45 miles distant.)
