STILL ANOTHER PROPOSAL.. [ Wellington, Tuesday. .A mixtion resnrdinsr the Jugo Slavs In the North Auckland district was asked in tin; House of Rcpraentfttives yesterday by llr. F. Munder. He asked the Minister of Defence whether he would remove restrictions on loyal Jago Slavs joining the Expeditionary Force, or whether, in the alternative, he would conscript them for essential industry. Sir .lames Allen said that the question of the Jugo Slavs had been under t'he consideration of the Government several times. He believed that some representatives of the Jugo Slavs had been holding, a meeting in Auckland. The Government would await tlie result of that meeting. He hoped it would be possible to make some arrangements for those who were loyal either to talTi; service with the Australian contingent being formed for some work in Serbia, or to take work in New Zealand.
