CHAMPION BUTTER-FAT COMPETITION. Kntrics for the champion butter-fat competition were to close on Ist November, but the committee has decided to extend the time to Saturday, Novcndier 10, at 5 p.m. The prizes are: First £G, second £3, third £2. The conditions provide that cows entered shall be milked under the supervision of a steward on the owner's farm, and winners shall be subsequently exhibited at the show. This will ensure the minimum of trouble and risk to competitors and avoid disturbing conditions for the cows under test.
