A Gazette Extraordinary issued Wednesday contains lists of names of the following Taranaki men who have been called up for military service, and who were instructed to report themselves at the Defence Offices at 10 a.m. yesterday for medical examination: — ■William E.. Brown, Jockey, Waverley. John Burke, laborer, Matapu. Thomas Forrest, bench-loader, Matemateaonga. James Hessey, greengrocer, Hawera. Walter H. Marslen, tailor, New Plymouth. Frank Murphy, carpenter, tfew Plymouth. Benjamin O'Sullivan, farm hand, Lowgarth. John S. Organ, Eltham. Claude S. Radford, Hospital, New Plymouth. Robert H. Reed, Motunui. Thomas Reilly, porter, Hawera. •Tames Ruddick, laborer, Te Roti. Trevor Rust, fencer, Douglas. Gilbert J. Weston, carpenter, New Plymouth. John Whale, laborer, Patea. Fred V. Whitford, driver, Hawera. CORRECTION. The following name was inserted in the Gazette on July 2 by mistake, he being identical with Michael Blewman, who died at Wanganui on October 30, 1'915: — Michael Blueman, laborer, Racecourse, New Plymouth.
