THE BOLO PASHA SCANDAL. London, Oct. 24. fhe Daily Chronicle's iParis correspondent says that 8010 Pasha, interrogated in his cell, admitted that he received x million francs from the ex-Khedive. 8010 says that it was only a reimbursement of a loan which he advanced to the ex-Khedive in order to win him back to the Entente. Throughout his dealings with Pavensten in New York, 8010 was deceived into believing that Pavenstein Iras a Czech, not a German. ' NEW CABINET POST. London, Oct. 24. The Daily Telegraph's iPari3 correspondent says that a new Cabinet post may be introduced in the shape of a Minister representing the Premier in Parliament and equivalent to the Leader of the House, a position hitherto unknown in France. The post may be entrusted to M. Viviani. who is a skilled Parliamentarian, which is M. Painleve's weakest point.
