WEATHER FORECAST.
By Telegraph.—Press Association. Wellington, Last Night. A westerly storm area has passed in the south, and squally, unsettled weather prevailed, with heavy showers, especially on the west coast of the northern and southern districts, but fair, warm and hazy conditions continue on the east coast of both islands. Present indications are for strong west to south-westerly winds; weather changeable, with scattered showers. Barometer unsteady, probably falling in the :: rth, but rising in the south.
