ENEMY FORCED BACK.

London, Oct. 21. East Africa official.—The main enomy forces retreating from Übemknru reached Maiswa, abandoning the hospitals. We occupied Ruponda and Lukeledimishion and forced the Germans towards Nyangao. ,We occupied Nyangao on Wednesday. Two Nigerian battalions who were temporarily detached suffered heavily. We joined them on Thursday and repulsed counter-attacks. Fighting is proceeding.
