THE ALLIED CONFERENCE. VITAL BEARING ON THE WAR. A DAY OF NATIONAL PRAYER. Received October 22, 5.5 p.m. Washington, Oct. 21. Mr. Maurice Low, correspondent in London of the Post, wires to the Post that the Allied War Conference; in which the United States participates, is to be held in London at the earliest date possible. He adds that it undoubtedly bears vitally on the war's future, and although primarily quoted for the discussion of finance, it necessarily follows that, the entire plan of campaign will be discussed, and a complete understanding reached between the financial and military chiefs and the United States, and the viewpoints will be co-ordinated. The Allies and United States' treasury officers feel that increased efficiency and perspective will be the outcome of free and frank discussion.
