MILKING SHORTHORNS.

All the principal A. & P. Associations now include in their shedules classes for Milking Shorthorns, and they are fast becoming the popular breed for practical farmers. Farmers interested in this | breed of cattle are notified that entries for non-pedigree female stock for the third volume of the Herd Book will be accepted up to the 30th June next. This will be the final opportunity to register as future volumes will be restricted to pedigree stock only. As per advertisement in another column, entrv forms and information are obtainable'from the Secretary, Mr. W. Hunter, Palmerston North.
