The Australian butter committee hai written to Lord Rhondda (Food Control ler), protesting against the difference ii price between Australian and New Zea land butter, which, they state, ought not to exceed four shillings. A deputation, under the auspices of tin National Dairy Association of New Zealand, waited upon Lord Rhondda, urging him to raise the maximum of New Zealand butter to a parity with the Iris! creamery butter, which is now 2245. Lord Rhondda promised the fullest eonsidera. tion.
