BACK FROM THE FRONT.

TARANAKI MEN. A draft of 278 men, who have been invalided home from the front, arrived in Wellington on Saturday morning. The following Taranaki men are included: Private G. Allan, New Plvmouth. Private E. P. Bates, Bell Block. Lonce-Corpl. J. E. jDaniells, Rahotu. Private J. Enwright, Midhirst. Private J. G. King, Whangamomoua. Private J. Mcßride, Waitara. Private W. O'Neill, Manutahi. Private H. Rogers, Tarurutangi. * Private C. Thompson, Tariki. Private W. W. Witt, Te Popo. A number of the men returned home by the mail train on Monday. At New Plymouth there was no public reception, the Patriotic Committee having no advice that the men were coming.
