The Land Amendment Bill has been introduced. This contains a cleause dealing with the difficulty regarding the sale of Crown lands in Taranaki, where, under tlie old law, the New Plymouth Harbor Board is entitled to one-fourt.li oi tho proceeds. It is that old provision which is now to be repealed, that has hold up tho sale of the West Coast Native leases.
