TENNIS.
At the annual meeting of the Hawera Tennis Club last Friday the balancesheet showed a credit of £'11) 5s 3d. Officers were elected as follows: Prcsi[dent, Mr. W. A. Parkinson; vicepresidents, Messrs Burgess and Webster; secretary and treasurer, Mr. R. H. Leece; auditor, Mr. G. Whitehorn; committee, Mesdames French, Morris, Webster, Miss Burgess,. Messrs N. Caplen, G. Whitehorn, find J. Kururangi; ladies' tea committee, Misses Blake, Hunter, Power, Caplen, Mesdames Janson and Black; ground committee, Messrs Caplen and Webster; delegate to association, Mr. J. C. Nicholson, New Plymouth.
