WEDDING.
. LEOPARD—TAPPENDEN. The wedding took place on Monday afternoon of Miss B. Leopard, daughter of Mr. H. H. Leopard, of the accountlint's branch, New Zealand Railways, Wellington, to Mr. Arthur Tappenden, of the Defence Headquarters, and only son of the late Mr. Edward Tappenden. of Woolwich, Kent, England. Owing to the indisposition of the bride's father, her brother, Mr. J. H, Leopard, gave her away. The Rev. A. M. Johnson officiated. Mr. Andrew was best man and Miss Frances Leopard the bridesmaid. After the ceremony, Mrs. Leopard entertained at her residence, Tinakori road, a number of guests. Later in the evening Mr. and Mrs. Tappenden left by the Maori for a tour of the South Island.
