WEATHER FORECAST.
By Telegraph.—Press Association. Wellington, Last Night. A westerly storm area prevailed during the week-end, and high boisterous northerly and westerly winds were ex. perienced on Saturday and Sunday, especially in and southward of Cook Strait. Rain has fallen generally. Present indications are for moderate to strong southerly windß, and cold and changeable weather, with scattered showers. The barometer will rise everywhere.
