DESTRUCTION IN JAPAN. Australian and N.Z. Cable Assn. Tokio, Oct. 3. The most destructive typhoon and flood in twenty years destroyed thousands of buildings. Forty thousand are homeless and a hundred are dead. A tidal wave caused a serious inundation.
