Kriss Jensen, a Russian, was remanded on a charge of deserting from the Port ICembla on September 12. It appears that Jensen joined tlio Port Kemhla in England as greaser, and worked on board until the last moment before the vessel sailed. 5 CUSTOMS REVENUE. Melbourne, Oct. 3, The customs /revenue is showing a serious decrease. For the three months ended September 30 it fell £1,117,000 ' compared with the last corresponding quarter, while war pensions are steadily increasing and now represent an annua] liability of <£2,105,000.
