WAR PENSIONS LIABILITIES. By Telegraph.—Press Association. Wellington, Oct. .3. The Dominion's net war pensions liability on Marcli 31 was £i}7,771, and September 3D ,£4(15.00!). Tlip gross annual value of pensions granted to the end of September was £388.931. The total number of claims dealt with ia 7398 soldiers, and 4083 dependents. During September there were 042 new claim? A BIGAMY CASE Christchureh, Oct, 3. in the Police Court Margaret Mary McCracken was charged with bigamy with Charles Frederick Hansen, who was charged in turn with marrying McCracken knowing her to bo already married. Both were elderly ipeople, and "were committed for trial.
