GERMANS MASSING AT RIGA. AN ATTACK IMMINENT. Received Oct. 4, 1.50 a.m. Petrograd, Oct. 3. The Germans have lately massed new heavy artillery in the Riga region. Aviators report that German infantry are massing at several centres preparatory to an attack. IN THE RIGA DISTRICT. A MILE REGAINED. Received Oct. 3, 5.15 p.m. Petrograd, Oct. 3. A wireless Russian oifieial report says: We advanced a mile in the Riga region, in the Kroneliberg—Spitali—Groundull sector ' AGITATORS REJECT ULTIMATUM. Received Oct. 3, 7.45 p.m. Petrograd, Oct. 2.
The agitators at Tashkent, supported by two regiments, rejected the ultimatum of the Government, which sent troops to suppress the disorders. Musselman's military cadets at Tashkent are opposing the rebels. The cadets have occupied the fortress.
