SUDDEN DEATH.

Last Wednesday a wharf laborer .named Richard Crocker was engaged in loading a coal basket, when it accidentally fell on his head. He was taken to the hospital, where he made such good progress that he was discharged yesterday morning. He was apparently well all day, and retired to bed at nine o'clock. About 11 he complained to his wife of a pain in his arm. Just afterwards, his wife heard,a peculiar noise. She got up, turned on the light, and found him expiring. Dr. Blacklcy was immediately sent for, but found him to be beyond medical aid. Deceased, who was 50 years of age, leaves, besides a .wife, two daughters and a son, who is at the front.
