SYDNEY STRIKE.
MINERS XO RESUME WORK. Received October 2, 11.5 p.m. Sydney. Oct. i. The president of the Coal Employees' Federation informed Cabinet that the looses decidi.d by a small majority to resume work in the mines to-morrow. The Governent will not accept the principle of the men returning in a body, but insisted upon forma! application to-day. The president of tlie federation .subsequently stated that provided no obstacles were placed in the way, all the collieries would be working to-morrow.
